Hong Kong's standard language is Chinese and English. So they learn English naturally since they were young. Befor 1997 Hong Kong's standard language was Cantonese language.But in 1997, Hong Kong was returned into China. So putonghua was added. Hong Kong's goverment imposes putonghua start from elementry school step by step. And English used by most people easily.
